Novastar VX4S Full Introduction and User Manual!
Novastar VX4S, as an internet-famous all-in-one LED video processor, can deal with multiple functions such as controlling, scaling and monitoring.
It supports various inputs and outputs, 2.3 million pixels loading capacity, many functions like PIP function, color gamut mapping and white balance calibration.
1. What Is Novastar VX4S?
Novastar VX4S is a professional all-in-one LED display controller that not only controls LED displays but also performs robust front-end processing, negating the necessity for an external scalar. Its incorporation of professional interfaces results in exceptional image quality and flexible image control, making it an excellent choice for the broadcast industry.
The user interface is also friendly, and operation is straightforward and enjoyable. We will discuss how to operate VX4S in the following.

2. Nova VX4S Features
(1) The inputs of the VX4S include CVBS×2, VGA×2, DVI×1, HDMI×1, DP×1 and SDI×1. They dupport input resolution up to 1920×1200@60Hz;
(2) The input imagesof VX4S can be zoomed point-to-point according to the screen resolution;
(3) Provide seamless high-speed switch and fade-in/fade-out effect so as to strengthen and display picture demonstration of professional quality;
(4) The locationand size of PIP can both be adjusted, Which can be controlled at will;
(5) Adopt the NovaG4 engine; the screen is stable and flicker free without scanning lines;
(6) The images are Exquisite and have a good sense of depth;
(7) Can implement white balance calibration and color gamut mapping based on different features of LEDs;
3. How to Connect Novastar VX4S with Equipment?

4. Novastar VX4S Setup
As you can see, this is picture of Novastar VX4S LED video processor, and we will point out the functions of each input.
Front Panel:
①: Power switch
②: Operation screen (Please see the section-Main Interface for detail)
③: Knob: To press knob means Enter or OK, rotating knob represents selection or adjustment
④: ESC: Escape current operation or selection
⑤: Four control keyboard shortcuts
PIP: PIP Turn-on/off: The lighting of this key represents the turn-on of PIP; otherwise, PIP is turned off
SCALE: Picture zoom turn-on/turn-off: The lighting of this key represents the turn-on of zoom function; otherwise, zoom function is unavailable.
MODE: Shortcut menu of loading or storage of display model. The key is light when entering the model or shortcut menu, in case of exiting, the key is not bright.
TEST: Shortcut of turn-on/off of testing picture. In case of entering testing picture, the key is bright; otherwise, the key is not bright
⑥: Shortcut keys for switching of 10 signal input source.
Short press to set as the main screen input source, and long press to set as PIP input source.
The key is bright after press when the video source has signal; the key fashes when the input of video source has no signal.
The setting result can be checked while setting on the display screen and OLED screen.
Note：You can enter numbers, such as layer size and offset value, by pressing the number buttons. The number button will be highlighted after pressed.
Back Panel:
Nova VX4S supports multiple input sources including Audio Input, DP Input, HDMI Input, 3-Channel PAL/NTSC TV composite video Inputs, DVI Inputs and VGA Inputs.
Also, the supported output sources are various such as DVI LOOP Output, DVI Monitoring Interface and Gigabit Ethernet outputs.

5. What Size Is NovaStar VX4S?
As the picture shows below, the size of Novastar VX4S can be 483.6mm*250mm*45mm.
6. What Is the Capacity of VX4S?
2.3 million pixels of loading capacity.
It can realize two pictures inputted by two different computers to be displayed on one LED screen as VX4S have PIP (picture in picture) function, the location and size of PIP can both be adjusted, which can be controlled at will.
